International competition in Italy
We won the 2nd prize on the international competition announced in Spring 2010 by Graniti Fiandre, a leading producer of porcelain tiles in the world.
The aim of the competition was to find the best areas of utilization where the new innovative products of the company can develop its features. These tiles called ACTIVE are coated with TiO2 - an antibacterial material, which can effectively kill the bacteria in the air activated by UV-A light.
In our presentation we demonstrated the possibility to get good use of this feature in transportation and within that - the subways.
